Trail Advisory: Miller Creek Footbridge Closure

The Miller Creek footbridge on Cedar Ridge Trail will be closed for structural repair from October 5 through November 6, 2026. The closure was scheduled after a routine inspection identified deterioration in two support members.

The trail remains open from the Ridge Road trailhead to the bridge, a distance of approximately 1.8 miles, and a signed detour routes hikers onto the Miller Creek spur and back to the main trail. The paved accessible section between the trailhead and Overlook Junction is not affected.

Trail users should expect intermittent equipment noise on weekdays between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. The district will post the reopening date on this page and at the trailhead.
