Community surveys

The district runs surveys when a decision is genuinely open. Results are published in full, including the comments, and the report says what changed as a result.

How surveys are used

What happens to your answers

Survey results go to the Board in an open meeting, with the full response data and every written comment attached. Staff summarise the findings but do not filter the comments.

A survey is not a vote, and the Board is not bound by the result. Where the Board decides differently from what the responses suggested, the staff report says so and explains why. The North Creek playground concept and the Riverbend lighting shutoff time were both settled by what residents said in a survey.

Responses are anonymous unless you choose to give contact details. The district does not use survey contact details for anything other than following up on that survey.
