About the district
Evergreen Community Services District
An independent special district formed in 1978 to provide parks, recreation and community facilities to roughly 48,200 residents across five service areas.
What we do
A district built around three things
Evergreen CSD maintains 312 acres of parks, trails and open space, operates 12 public facilities, and runs 20 recreation programs a season. That is the whole job. The district does not provide water, sewer, fire or police service; those come from other agencies.
A community services district is a form of independent local government. It has its own elected board, its own budget and its own audit, and it is accountable directly to the residents inside its boundary rather than through a city council or board of supervisors.
About six dollars in every ten the district spends come from its share of the property tax already collected in the area. Most of the rest comes from the people who register for programs and reserve facilities. Nothing here is funded by a separate parcel tax or assessment.

North Creek
The district's northern neighborhoods, from Creekside Drive to the county line. Served by Pinecrest Recreation Center.
Maple Grove
The district's civic center, including the administrative office, the community center and Evergreen Community Park.
Riverbend
East of the Clearwater River crossing. Home to the district's tournament sports fields and the splash park.
Oakview
The southern service area, with the district's largest picnic facilities and the senior center.
Cedar Ridge
The western foothills. Trail access, open space and the district's racquet sports center.
