How to address the Board
Speak at the meeting
Fill out a speaker card when you arrive, or raise your hand when the President calls for public comment. Each speaker has three minutes. You may comment on any agenda item when it is called, or on any district matter during the general comment period. No advance sign-up is needed.
Submit a written comment
Written comments received by 3:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting are distributed to all five directors and entered into the record. Comments arriving later are given to the Board at the meeting and included in the following meeting's materials.
Watch a recording
Regular meetings are recorded and posted within five business days. Recordings are retained for two years under the district records retention schedule; minutes are the permanent official record.
