Service area
The district boundary covers roughly 31 square miles and about 48,200 residents, organized into five service areas. Anyone may use district facilities; residents pay a lower rate and book further ahead.

Service areas are an operational convenience, not a restriction. A North Creek family is welcome at Oakview Park and pays the same rate.
North Creek
The district's northern neighborhoods, from Creekside Drive to the county line. Served by Pinecrest Recreation Center.

Boundaries
What the boundary means, and what it does not
The district boundary was set when the district was formed in 1978 and has been adjusted twice since, both times to take in new residential development on the eastern edge. Boundary changes are approved by the county Local Agency Formation Commission, not by the district itself.
Everything the district runs is open to everyone, whether or not they live inside the boundary. Parks, trails and the splash park are free to all. Programs and rentals cost more for non-residents because residents already contribute through the property tax allocation.
The boundary does not follow city limits or school district lines, so it is common for neighbours on the same street to be in different districts. If your address is ambiguous, the property tax bill settles it.
