How projects happen
From idea to ribbon cutting
Capital projects move through five phases. Each has a point where residents can weigh in, and the earlier that happens the more it changes the outcome.

Planning
Need is identified and studied. Community meetings and surveys shape what gets built.

Design
Drawings are developed. The Board reviews schematic and final design in open session.
03
Procurement
The work is advertised, bids are opened publicly and the Board awards the contract.
04
Construction
Work begins. Closures are noticed in advance and updates are posted here.
05
Completed
The Board accepts a notice of completion, and final costs are published.
