The playground at North Creek Park is fenced and closed from September 28 through December 18, 2026.
Construction to replace the playground at North Creek Park begins September 28, 2026 and is expected to be complete by December 18, 2026. The play area will be fenced and closed for the duration of the work.
The basketball court, creekside path, picnic area and restrooms remain open throughout construction. Some parking spaces in the Creekside Drive lot will be used for equipment staging.
Work occurs weekdays between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Residents should expect construction noise and occasional truck traffic on Creekside Drive during those hours. The nearest alternative playgrounds are at Evergreen Community Park and Oakview Park.
The Board will hold a public hearing on December 8, 2026 before considering adoption of the five-year capital improvement plan.

Proposals are being accepted through November 6, 2026 for a replacement registration and facility reservation platform.
