Teen Leadership Program
A free program where teens plan and run a district community event from start to finish.
About this program
Participants work in teams to plan, budget and staff a real district event, then present a debrief to the Board of Directors. Along the way the program covers public speaking, meeting facilitation, budgeting and event logistics.
Completed participation counts toward community service hours and graduating members are given priority for paid seasonal recreation positions.
