What you would do
- Maintain turf, planting beds and trees across assigned parks
- Troubleshoot and repair irrigation systems
- Conduct routine playground safety inspections and document findings
- Operate mowers, small tractors and a one-ton dump truck
- Respond to after-hours calls on a rotating standby schedule
Minimum qualifications

- Two years of grounds maintenance experience, preferably in a public agency
- Valid California driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
- Certified Playground Safety Inspector certification, or the ability to obtain it within one year
- Qualified Applicator Certificate is preferred
